Hoekman Stainless Steel: Total Supplier

Water cutting

If you are looking for a different way to cut sheet metal, rest assured; we can use water cutting to cut various materials very accurately. Water jet cutting can even be used for engraving and cutting delicate outlines in thicker materials. At Hoekman Roestvaststaal, you are guaranteed a high quality product at a great price.

Water-cutting technique

Our water jet cutter cuts materials using high pressure and speeds. Depending on the material, an abrasive (cutting sand) is also used. The maximum sheet size that we are able to water cut is 4000mm x 2000mm. Water cutting can be used for almost all materials, ranging from metals, plastics and glass to stone, composites, and other materials such as wood, marble, cement, rubber, acrylic glass, and leather. As the Bystronic Byjet 4022 has two cutting heads, the machine is able to cut two products at the same time, allowing us to supply high-quality products quickly and at great rates.

The advantages of water cutting

  • Cuts with almost no burr to speak of
